Original Post 8/23/2024: Dry conditions in Fall River County have lead to a number of fires over the last few weeks. Most of these have been in the Edgemont Area. The Red Canyon Fire is currently active at 100 acres. There are no evacuations or road closures. The Bennett Fire is contained at 367 acres. The Round Top Fire is out, it burned 74.5 acres.
