Vineyard Fire

There is a fire along Fall River Road. Units are on scene. Please avoid travel on Fall River Road, traffic is currently restricted to a single lane.  Currently pre-evacuation notice in place for Valley View Subdivision.  Pre-evacuation means you should be prepared to evacuate at any time.

Fall River County Fair

The Fall River County Fair will be held August 1st through the 5th at the Fairgrounds in Edgemont. Exhibit building and 4-H shows Thursday and Friday.  4-H Ag Olympics and Chuckwagon Feed Thursday afternoon. Demolition Derby Friday evening. Main Street Parade Saturday morning (10:30am).  Mud Hog Wrestling and Bull Riding Saturday afternoon.

The Fall River County Director of Equalization office is accepting applications for a part time administrative assistant position. Applicant must have excellent customer service, computer, math, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read maps and understand legal descriptions is a plus. This position will also be assisting assessors with summer and fall field work.
