The Weed & Pest office has moved into its new location at 709 Jensen Highway.  The office is located on the right (south) end of the building.  Doors are sometimes locked as the other office on this side is not yet inhabited.  If you are visiting Nina just knock on the window with the Weed & Pest sign.  Future county Weed Board meetings will take place in the meeting room at this location.

The Community Health Nurse has officially moved into the new building at 709 Jensen Highway. The office of the Community Health Nurse is located on the left (north) end of the building.  An open house will be held on October 31^st (more details to come) but for right now it’s business as usual. All other offices are still located on North River Street, we will be posting announcements as other offices move to the new location.

The Fall River County Highway Department is accepting applications for a Mechanic. This job requires that the applicant possess a Class “A” C.D.L.  For more information call 605-745-5137. Monday July 24th – Chilson Fire 4 miles south of Minnekahta Junction is currently listed at 10 acres, State and local crews are on scene

Saturday July 22nd – Negabauer Fire 3  miles north of Ardmore burned 36 acres, it is out.

24/7 Tech (part-time): The Fall River County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for two 24/7 Tech positions. Duties include administering PBTs and UAs, data entry into computer system.  Hours are early morning and early evening.
