Data Breach – change your password

The county has been informed of a cybersecurity attack which as affected our emergency alert system, CodeRED. A cybercriminal group has claimed responsibility for this incident.

Contact information for subscribers may have been stolen and may have been published online.

The greatest concern it that subscribers may have used a password on their CodeRED registration that they also use for other accounts. If you subscribed for CodeRED and ‘reused’ a password, please immediately go and change the password on your other accounts.

Courthouse Closed – Thanksgiving

The Fall River County Courthouse will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27th & 28th, in observance of Thanksgiving. Regular hours will resume Monday December 1st.

Courthouse Closed – Veterans’ Day

The Fall River County Courthouse will be closed Tuesday, November 11th, in observance of Veteran’s Day. Regular hours will resume Wednesday, November 12th.

Property Taxes Due – Oct 31st

The second half of property taxes are due by end of day, Friday, October 31st.  Taxes can be paid in person at the Fall River County Courthouse, 906 N River St, Hot Springs from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.  Lines can get long towards the end of the month so it is best not to wait till the last day.

If paying by mail please include your tax payment stubs in your envelope. If you would like a tax receipt, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Tax payments MUST be postmarked by October 31st, or interest is automatically applied. Please notify our office of any changes to your mailing address.
