Mandatory Evacuation – Indian Canyon Fire

There is now a mandatory evacuation (as of 3:45 pm 7/17) for residents in Cottonwood Addition of Edgemont as well as homes south of there along Pine Hills Rd and Lookout Rd.
Indian Canyon Fire – Pre-Evacuation Notice

Pre-Evacuation Notice is being given to the following areas due to the Indian Canyon Fire:
- Cottonwood Addition of Edgemont
- Lookout Rd
- Indian Canyon Rd (west end)
- SD Hwy 471 from mm 25 to Provo
These areas are all Southeast of Edgemont.
The following roads are closed to through traffic:
- SD Hwy 471
- Lookout Rd
- Indian Canyon Rd
- Plumb Creek Rd
Please give our firefighters and officers a break and avoid this area.
